How to Help BUFCO
Employee Giving Program: Why is it so effective?
Workplace Giving Campaigns provide funding to build capacity and operating capital for nonprofit organizations, and are so effective because a small amount can make a monumental difference.
BUFCO offers a way for donors to give to the charities that matter most to them. We believe that employees know what their communities need and which local charities best serve them.
In addition, Coloradoans are well known for their generosity. Employees can help
support their communities more easily through payroll deductions. A monetary ongoing
gift of $10-
How does the Employee Giving Program work?
Black United Fund of Colorado's Employee Giving Program works alongside payroll deduction programs you already have in place. If you offer United Way, then BUFCO can be offered at the same time.
Your payroll department will need to allocate a field to Black United Fund of Colorado
and issue a check monthly, quarterly, or whatever works best for you. Some employees
will choose to give only a one time gift that may not involve a payroll deduction.
They might also want to give hours for dollars by volunteering-
If you wish, we can also help set up a matching corporate give program. Your commitment to the community will make your employees proud to work there and will further encourage their generosity.
Please help employees support the local charitable organizations that they care about by expanding choice in your workplace!
